L'vonne's life changed forever when a lawnmower accident resulted in a below-the-knee amputation. But thanks to the work of prosthetists, she is still able to walk. As a way of giving back to the science that helped her keep her mobility, she collaborates with the University of Pittsburgh Prosthetics and Orthotics program as a patient model to help students learn how to create and fit prostheses. Hear her story.
