Nikki O'Gorman's work centers on collaborating with School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) faculty and staff to develop instructional strategies that create accessible, interactive and meaningful courses for online and hybrid learners. Previously, O'Gorman served as an Instructional Design Assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she supported faculty with instructional design guidance and resolved technical issues in virtual learning environments. She then advanced her expertise as an intern and contractor with the OOL, designing and implementing sustainable, inclusive content for SHRS courses.
In her current full-time role, O'Gorman creates learning experiences that equip learners for real-world challenges, aligning with SHRS’s mission to advance health and rehabilitation through education. She strives to enhance learner engagement and promote accessible online course development.
With over 10 years of experience in human-centered design, O’Gorman brings an intentional, learner-focused approach that fosters skill development and real-world engagement.
