Dr. Marc Christian is currently a consultant working within the sports landscape providing solutions to organizational challenges. Christian holds an adjunct faculty position at Georgetown University, teaching courses in the Sports Industry Management program. He is a former Division I NCAA swimming coach with 10 years’ experience coaching sprint, middle distance and distance student-athletes. Christian has worked with athletes at the highest levels of swimming - coaching an Olympian, NCAA Champion and World Championship qualifiers. Christian has also developed student-athletes to break (over 150) varsity records and attain several prestigious NCAA, ACC and IVY academic awards. Christian is an expert in college sports and is deeply committed to the research and teaching of higher education and sports management. Christian studies athletics directors, organizational culture and hazing in college sports. He has demonstrated a history of partnering within and across higher education institutions, researching and serving with a multitude of faculty and higher education professionals.
