Juli Harrison received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She is also a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). She currently splits her time between clinical work and research. In her clinical role, she is a seating therapist the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute Center for Assistive Technology. There, she primarily focuses on wheelchair seating and positioning. As part of the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh, she is both a researcher and a member of the continuing education team.
Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Juli spent nearly a decade working in instructional and informational technology (IT). She has a master’s degree in Learning Technologies from the University of Michigan with a focus on assistive technology (AT). Outside of work, Juli serves on the Board of Directors for CLASS (Community Living and Support Services).
