Ashley Gruszkowski is an adjunct faculty member within the Department of Health Information Management in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) at the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked in the quality and process improvement field for 11 years in both the private and public healthcare sectors. She is currently a program specialist for the Office of Healthcare Transformation in the Department of Veterans Affairs located in Washington, D.C.
Gruszkowski was born and raised in Pittsburgh and attended the University of Pittsburgh for both her undergraduate (Bachelor of Science, 2011 - Health Information Management) and graduate degrees (Master of Health Administration, 2015). In addition to her career in health care and being an adjunct faculty member, Gruszkowski has a wonderful husband and twin girls born in March 2020.
