Assistant Professor Alyssa Mathews has been a PA for 11 years with her first 7 being in a local pediatrics practice. At the School of Medicine, she worked on various research projects regarding mobility, neurocognition, lipid disorders and aging. Her experience includes performing clinical procedures on study participants, protocol revisions, creation of standard operating procedures, and other research-related tasks, as well as serving as a guest lecturer in our PA Studies Program. Mathews' primary assignment is supporting our PA Studies and PA Studies Hybrid Programs while continuing to support the research efforts of the School of Medicine.
