Alison Bank is a research coordinator within the Department of Physical Therapy for the STEP-HI and RETAIN studies. She will assist with subject identification, prescreening, screening, recruitment, consent, randomization and follow-up for STEP-HI; and provide regulatory support for STEP-HI, RETAIN and other research projects. Prior to joining the PT department, Bank worked as the learning & research project manager at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, managing federal research grants, locally-funded programs and coordinating grant events, such as professional development workshops, multi-day summits and more. She has designed and implemented evaluations of over 25 programs, led the design, production and distribution of research-based digital and print assets and facilitated over 50 workshops for researchers and educators. She completed her BS at Pitt in biological sciences as well as her MS in wellness & human performance at SHRS.
