Dr. Dunlap joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science, her Doctor of Physical Therapy, and her PhD in Rehabilitation Science, all from the University of Pittsburgh. She also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Epidemiology at the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied community mobility using GPS measures and outdoor environmental factors related to falls among older adults. Dr. Dunlap works clinically in outpatient neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation at UPMC Centers for Rehab Services and is a board certified neurologic clinical specialist. Her research interests include the determination of personal factors that affect recovery after a vestibular disorder and the improvement in healthcare quality for persons with balance and vestibular disorders.
