Dr. Crandell was born in Ecuador and grew up in Kenya and the United Arab Emirates; he is an avid biker and backpacker; he is part of local lore in the biking community having completed the Pgh-DC ride in under 24 hours!
He has interned with Pitt football, gymnastics and several area high school athletic programs. His recent work experience is in outpatient and skilled nursing care. He has special interest in the areas of functional strengthening for independent living older adults as well as working with endurance athletes.
