Michael Westfall is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Health Information Management (HIM). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh, where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics. Michael was the Delta Sigma Pi Key Scholar for the class of 2014. He is currently a lead financial analyst with UPMC’s Health Services Division. In this role, he oversees the Medical Surgical Nursing Service Center, which involves budgeting, controllership and analytics for nursing units across UPMC’s 40 hospitals. Additional responsibilities of Michael’s current role include serving as a lead analyst for UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospitals and as the finance lead for the UPMC Allegheny County Dialysis Service Center.
