Software previously only available on specific computers in FT 6048 can now be accessed via the web.
Zoom is available on all SHRS classroom computers at Forbes Tower, Bakery Square, Bridgeside Point and Murdoch Building
All SHRS classrooms include webcam/mic mounted to a tripod
Tripod can be moved to view instructor and/or demonstrations but should be close to instructor when lecturing for best audio quality
Instructors should repeat all questions from onsite attendees, for benefit of remote viewers and allocate time to address remote students/questions
Many classrooms have multiple Audio/Video devices (microphones, cameras). Please insure you select the appropriate AV device.

The handheld and lavalier mics in the following rooms can also be selected as an input source on the PC for Zoom, Teams, etc. You must select the appropriate device from within Zoom

Use Canvas' Media tool for quick video or audio posts within announcements or discussion posts. Do not use this tool for recordings over 15 minutes in length.
Use Panopto when recording audio or video for evergreen content or summative assessment activities. Panopto is an effective tool for serving video content through the web.
