Mark DeRuiter is professor and director of the Clinical Science Doctoral Program in Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Communication Science and Disorders. He joins SHRS from The University of Arizona where he served as clinical professor and associate department head for Clinical Education. DeRuiter is dually certified in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. He is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. His clinical and research interests include auditory processing disorders and issues in clinical education.
