Andrew Sprague is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. His research focuses on overuse tendon injuries with a specific interest in patellar tendinopathy in jumping athletes. The long-term goal of his research is to optimize load and recovery prescription to prevent and rehabilitate overuse tendon disorders. Additionally, Andrew teaches in the musculoskeletal curriculum. Prior to joining Pitt PT, Andrew completed his graduate work in the Tendon Research Lab at the University of Delaware, Newark, DE and his undergraduate degree at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA.
