Jessica Maguire is the executive director of Student Affairs and ombudsperson at SHRS. Her current responsibilities include providing strategic direction and oversight of admissions, advisement, student services, student engagement and student success, supporting and advocating for students and student groups, and collaborating closely with and advising the dean, vice dean, associate deans, department chairs and program directors.
Maguire joined SHRS in 2006 and served in several capacities including student services coordinator, admissions administrator and director of Admissions. She earned her Master of Arts in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on art history and gender studies from Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa, CA, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in art history with a minor in women’s studies from Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA. Before moving to Pennsylvania, she lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Northern California, Maryland and Thailand where she attended the International School of Bangkok.
