NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language Hearing Association) is the national organization for undergraduate and graduate students interested in the study of human communication and related disabilities. Any University of Pittsburgh student interested in speech-language pathology, audiology or the speech, language, and hearing sciences. This includes students at all levels -- first-year, sophomores, juniors, seniors, master’s, clinical doctorate, and research doctorate students. Learn more here.
The Audiology and Hearing Club works to promote hearing awareness, the effects of noise induced hearing loss and vestibular disorders both on campus and within the community. This includes volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and events focused on all things audiology related. Any undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh who is interested in hearing loss and balance disorders is invited to join. Learn more here.
