Department Student Awards

  • Brice Hounshel Smith (OTD Class of 2024) was awarded the Joan C. Rogers Student Award. This award recognizes an entry-level OT student, who in their last year of study, demonstrates high-level scholastics, exemplary professionalism, and commitment to advancing the profession. 
  • Dani Cake (OTD Class of 2025) was awarded the Caroline Robinson Brayley Student Enrichment Award in Occupational Therapy. This award enriches the educational experiences inside and/or outside of the classroom and promotes the success in the program and within the profession of an entry-level OT student in their 1st or 2nd year of study.  
  • Christie Cyktor (OTD Class of 2024) was awarded the Department of Occupational Therapy Professional Excellence Award. This award recognizes an an entry-level OT student, who in their last year of study, demonstrates an exceptional ability to promote occupational therapy through their professional activities.
