The University of Pittsburgh COTAD Chapter was established in August 2020. As a chapter, we aim to promote diversity, community and empower students to be more comprehensive and effective clinicians. We will carry out several initiatives which include hosting events, facilitating open dialogue among students and staff regarding current affairs and outreach in the Pittsburgh Community. The Pitt COTAD Chapter strives to be a place where all students can engage in impactful discussions, learn about different cultures and backgrounds and acquire the skills needed to make actionable change for a more equitable profession and inclusive society.
To promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the Pitt OT community and empower students to be more comprehensive and effective clinicians.
Today’s students, tomorrow’s informed advocates.
