First and foremost our faculty are skilled clinicians and it is not uncommon to find them engaged in clinical care. This experience and knowledge is consistently brought into the classroom to enhance the students learning. In addition to our rigorous classroom didactic instruction from our faculty, our clinical education program is integrated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and its partner, UPMC Centers for Rehab Services, thereby giving students access to diverse clinical experiences across the healthcare continuum. In addition, several specialty practice experiences are available including, but not limited to: Balance & Vestibular Rehabilitation Clinic, Women’s Health, Sports Medicine, Industrial Rehab, and Hand Therapy. The curriculum is designed to emphasize early and intensive integration of our students into the clinical environment throughout their educational program.
