Biography

Shelly Fetchen-DiCesaro remains clinically active as a casual call athletic trainer with UPMC, serves as an international team appointed athletic trainer for U.S. Figure Skating and member of the U.S. Figure Skating Sports Science and Medicine Committee.

Fetchen-DiCesaro brings with her clinical and classroom experience having served for fourteen years in a dual appointment as an athletic trainer for a nationally ranked women’s basketball team and a professor of athletic training and health science.

Most recently Fetchen-DiCesaro was elected to the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association as president-elect shortly after completing one year of service to the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society as a regional representative and president.
