Shelbey Rojik aims to enhance the clinical placement process by driving innovation and efficiency. She will work to create new clinical partnerships through strategic planning and outreach strategies. Rojik plays a crucial role to create a streamlined and supportive placement experience, which prepares students for successful careers in their fields. This initiative contributes to SHRS’s mission of producing well-prepared professionals who can effectively meet the diverse health care needs of their communities.
Prior to joining Pitt SHRS, Rojik worked for UPMC as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at UPMC Mercy where she led an interdisciplinary team in the health system’s inpatient rehabilitation hub. She brings experience in the clinical environment, proven leadership, strong relationship management, strategic vision, compliance knowledge and innovative problem solving to SHRS.
