Biography

Patricia Karg has broad experience managing and performing clinical and laboratory research on the effectiveness of emerging technologies and assistive products. She serves as the Director of Product Testing and Evaluation for the Healthy Home Laboratory, an interprofessional community collaboration working toward tech-enabled solutions to support health and independence at home. She has conducted her research through a long history as co-investigator on several ACL and NIH grants. She has expertise in the laboratory and clinical evaluation of technology, seating and mobility and the prevention of secondary injury. She is actively involved in the development of performance and safety standards for assistive products.
