Biography

Nikki O’Gorman collaborates with SHRS faculty and staff to design engaging, inclusive courses for online and hybrid learners. In her previous role, she provided higher ed faculty with remote instructional design and technical support. She then interned with Pitt’s Office of Online Learning before moving into a contract position, where she created sustainable content for SHRS courses. Now in a full-time role, O’Gorman applies her decades-long background in human-centered design to integrate user experience and engagement principles into her instructional design approach. Her goal is to create learner-focused solutions that promote active learning and practical skill development.
