Natalie Baney’s current responsibilities include designing effective communications and marketing strategies for traditional, social and digital media; compiling and analyzing marketing results; creating communications pieces, collateral materials, announcements and advertisements that align with University branding; promoting events, activities and initiatives; and coordinating various methods of message delivery.
Baney has also served as the SHRS representative on the Working Committee for the Office of Health Sciences Diversity, was elected as the SHRS staff representative of the Dean’s Search Committee (2015) and was appointed the school’s representative on the University’s Year of Creativity (YoC) Steering Committee and head of the YoC marketing and promotions working group.
Baney joined SHRS in 2007 and served in several capacities including Dean’s Office coordinator, administrative assistant and director of Recruitment. Previously, Baney worked for several years as a news producer and was part owner of a small business franchise.
