Biography

Melissa Aleksak is an experienced occupational therapist having worked in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient mental health, home health and pediatrics. Aleksak also served as the program director for an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at the collegiate level. She uses her clinical and academic experience as a driver rehabilitation specialist. She is committed to helping drivers understand and improve their driving ability and confidence after a medical illness, a major medical event, health condition or injury, while providing exceptional driver rehabilitation services that incorporate education, training and support based on each client’s unique driving needs to foster safety and independence.
