Biography

Matthew Berwick currently serves as the senior program manager of the Disability Accommodations in Clinical Services for the UPMC Health System in the Disabilities Resource Center and teaches part-time at the University of Pittsburgh.  Berwick has worked in disability services for over a decade, serving on local, state and national boards for people with disabilities. Berwick loves sharing his knowledge of disability with students. Berwick believes there’s a need for future generations, especially future health care professionals, to have a deep understanding of disability and the associated issues. In addition to the work Berwick does, he is very active in the Pittsburgh disability sports community and advocating in many areas for people with disabilities.
