Biography

Julie Dubis joined the full-time faculty for the on-campus physician assistant studies program in July 2022. She has initiated simulation-based activities for the Program at WISER and the Anatomy lab.  She has worked clinically in Thoracic Surgery and currently in Oncology, both within UPMC and is involved in multiple committees within UPMC’s Office of Advanced Practice Providers (APP) including the MentorMe program and Education Committee. Given her clinical expertise, previous APP management and work with onboarding and transition to practice, she is dedicated to preparing health professional students as they transition into clinical rotations and then professional practiceDubis is also on the Board of Directors for the SHRS Center for Interprofessional Studies.
