John Pierce has been providing pre-hospital patient care continuously for 30 years, 26 of which have been at the Advanced Life Support level. He has experience as a service manager, fire fighter, deputy coroner and administrator and in various capacities as educator and mentor at the EMT, Paramedic and Critical Care level. Pierce is active as an advocate of Emergency Medical Services at the local, state and federal levels with a focus on leadership, management, education and development. Pierce also contributed to the National Emergency Medical Services Managers Association’s National EMS Officer Competencies document.
