Biography

Jill Bodnar supports the SHRS Marketing, Communications, Recruitment and Enrollment (MCRE) team by coordinating and writing about the school’s inspiring students, staff and faculty for the SHRS website, press releases, newsletters and marketing materials. Being surrounded by the dedicated people in SHRS and elevating their stories gives her immense hope for the future of health care.

Prior to returning to her hometown of Pittsburgh, she worked in Seattle for 17 years as an information management specialist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration planning for and responding to oil spills and hurricanes across the country. In between Seattle and Pittsburgh, she spent a few years as a communications specialist and brand ambassador for a small hotel on a mountainside overlooking Lake Como, Italy.
