Biography

Jason Hare taught Special Education Biology and was the head athletic trainer for Langley High School in the Fairfax County Public School System in Northern Virginia for three years prior to returning to school Clinically, Hare worked for one year at UPMC Sports Medicine in orthopedic surgery followed by eight years in inpatient Primary Care at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPIC). He began taking physician assistant students for clinical education at his WPIC workplace, as well as lecturing in the University of Pittsburgh Physician Assistant Program in 2011 and was hired as full-time faculty as an Assistant Professor in January of 2014.
