Biography

Jared Divido collaborates with SHRS faculty and other team members to develop, design and enhance online and hybrid courses. Guided by best practices and learning pedagogy, he focuses on creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments that promote engagement and academic achievement.

In addition to his role at the Office of Online Learning, Divido teaches courses in human and comparative anatomy, microbiology and pathology at Point Park University and Pierce Mortuary Colleges, where he shares his extensive subject matter expertise and passion for student learning. He fosters interactive environments by blending theory with practical applications, encouraging critical thinking and promoting active participation. Previously, he consulted for NeverTechLate, a program empowering older adults through technology education to reduce social isolation. At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he led the development and facilitation of faculty training programs, equipping educators with strategies to elevate teaching and improve learner outcomes.
