Erin E.G. Lundblom’s original interest in the field focused on how speech-language pathologists provide clinical services to persons with dementia. Across her career, Lundblom worked at several pediatric and adult clinical settings with her clinical interest shifting to school-based settings and how to support children and adolescents with language and literacy needs. Lundblom later moved to a university setting serving as a clinical instructor in a campus-based clinic where her focus shifted to investigating how to support students to lead change in clinical practice settings. Over time, her professional journey brought her to the University of Pittsburgh where she worked to support undergraduate students, and she continued to practice clinically. In recent years, Lundblom resumed her focus on clinical education providing support to the graduate program in speech-language pathology. Lundblom has presented at regional, state and national conferences about clinical education.
