Biography

Elizabeth Haley began the program under the tutelage of Professor Sheila Pratt, and she is continuing with Professor Catherine Palmer. As a longterm student at the university, she has been consistently impressed with the clinical, research, mentorship and interprofessional opportunities at the University of Pittsburgh. Longterm, her research seeks to make a meaningful impact on speech and language outcomes for children with hearing loss and auditory processing issues. In the next few years, she will complete research that helps to better understand how individuals process timing cues in auditory signals and then use those cues to learn from around the world.
