Biography

Dilhari DeAlmeida worked in basic science research for over 12 years and transitioned to academia in 2012. Her current research focuses on improving clinical decision support systems within the electronic health record and leveraging health care data to improve health care delivery and quality. She serves on state, national and international health information management/health informatics associations in various elected capacities including being a member of the Health Informatics Accreditation Council with CAHIIM (Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management).
