Biography

Over the last 20 years, Chad Peterson has worked in orthopedic surgery and emergency medicine all within the city of Pittsburgh.  

As an avid outdoorsman, he has also sought additional training to be certified in Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) and has become an instructor with AWLS.  Peterson’s interests are cross-country running, hunting, mountain biking, coaching, teaching and serving those less fortunate within underserved populations. He has precepted students in orthopedic surgery from all physician assistant schools in the tri-state area for 17 years.   

Presently, he is unable to take precept students at his current location.
