Biography

Britney Beatrice finds great fulfillment in teaching and mentoring students. This instructor is highly regarded for her engaging teaching style and commitment to student mentorship. She actively contributes to curriculum development, ensuring her courses reflect cutting-edge nutrition research and practical applications. Britney embodies a multifaceted approach to life and learning, striving to inspire her students and contribute meaningfully to the nutrition and dietetics field.

Outside of academia, Beatrice leads an active lifestyle that includes practicing yoga and mindfulness. Since 2019, she has been translating her own yoga practice to yoga classes she teaches as an experienced registered yoga teacher at the 200-hour level (E-RYT 200).

In her research, Beatrice has worked mainly with behavioral interventions for obesity, emphasizing nutrition and physical activity intervention. She is passionate about promoting healthy eating habits and exploring innovative approaches to address chronic disease and improve health.

Beatrice is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in exercise physiology and she believes that this program will better equip her to lead studies that focus on evidence-based physical activity and nutrition interventions.
