Biography

Andrew Sprague is a clinician, educator and researcher specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Inspired by his mother, who devoted her life to educating children about marine biology at the Delaware beaches, Sprague developed a passion for teaching. Outside of the classroom, he is committed to mentoring students in research and developing the next generation of clinician-scientists. His research integrates ultrasound imaging, biomechanics, tissue biology and clinical tools to enhance outcomes for patients with tendon injuries or those undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Sprague focuses on conducting high-quality rehabilitation clinical trials that translate basic science discoveries into clinical practice.
