Biography

Amanda Mortimer ensures quality control for multiple federally funded single center and multicenter research projects. She tracks project milestones from intake to production of electronic data capture systems, utilizing standardization procedures and common data elements. She ensures timeliness of project deliverables with respect to data monitoring, reporting, protocol changes, analysis and data sharing at closeout. Mortimer ensures each project is in full compliance with respect to human research protections, Institutional Review Board activities and secure data storage.

Previously, Mortimer served as a research specialist and laboratory manager in the Pittsburgh Institute for Neurological Diseases, Department of Neurology.
