Biography

Alison Bank joined the department as a research coordinator in 2022. Her main projects include ARM Fall Prevention, VT RETAIN and STEP-HI Hip Fracture studies. Bank primarily coordinates participant screening and recruitment, informed consent, regulatory compliance, continuous quality improvement efforts and other research-related activities. Prior to joining the PT department, Bank worked as a Research & Evaluation Project Manager in education and informal learning research for nearly 10 years, where she designed and implemented evaluations of over 25 programs, led the design, production and distribution of research-based digital and print assets and facilitated over 50 workshops for researchers and educators. She is happy for the full circle moment and being back at SHRS.
