Biography

Shilpa Gaikwad is an educator, scientist and clinician who is not only passionate about providing physical therapy education to her students, but she also strives to inspire and empower them to advance into an evidence-based clinical practitioner who can effectively serve the community. Gaikwad has 15 years of clinical experience practicing in hospital-based and outpatient neurologic physical therapy settings across a diverse patient population and health care systems of the United States and India. She has taught physical therapy students for 11 years in the areas of neuroscience and neurologic physical therapy starting in India and now in the United States.
