Rebekah Nesbitt currently serves as Adjunct Faculty in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) with a focus on environmental and home-based assistive technology solutions. Rebekah is a University of Pittsburgh alumna, wherein she obtained her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a specialty in the treatment of pediatric speech sound disorders. Currently, Rebekah serves as an Assistive Technology Coordinator through PA’s designated Assistive Technology Act Program, TechOWL. Rebekah services 7 counties throughout Western PA by helping individuals with disabilities acquire, learn, and explore assistive technology solutions. She will obtain Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification in July 2024, and currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Rebekah is also an employee of Community Living and Support Services (CLASS), a nonprofit organization based in the city of Pittsburgh.
