Kevin Renz Ambrocio is a speech-language pathologist and PhD student who specializes in swallowing and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). He is primarily interested in dysphagia and dystussia (cough dysfunction) in inclusion body myositis. His other research interests include the effects of contextual factors on swallowing function and dysphagia management within the biopsychosocial paradigm. Clinically, Ambrocio’s experience has been in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care and outpatient.
