Karthik Hariharan is an assistant professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. He also serves as the Director of Human Anatomy for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.  His prior experiences include clinical and research work as a Physical Therapist. Hariharan has taught several human anatomy courses at the undergraduate and graduate level for various programs within SHRS since 2013. He received an ‘Innovation in Education’ award from the Provost’s Advisory Committee for Instructional Excellence for incorporating 3D visual technology and hybrid pedagogies in his courses. His research interests include physical therapy management of spine related disorders, implementation of innovative technology in classroom teaching and comparative analysis of healthcare education especially related to quality and access of education.
