Katie Caspero's role includes coordination of the Doctor of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy (CScD) program. In addition, Caspero is responsible for the public relations and communication activities of the department including social media platforms. Caspero has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 10 years. She completed an Advanced Certification for Implementation of Evidence in Clinical Practice from the Pitt OT Department in 2021. Caspero owns her own small business, OT Graphically, where she creates easily digestible infographics of evidence-based practices to help translate research into clinical practice. She was motivated to join the School of Health and Rehabilitation Science to be able to share the impressive and innovation happenings within the occupational therapy department to the greater Pittsburgh community and beyond.
