Jeff Cooper began his career as an evaluator almost 20 years ago at Pitt Student Affairs, while completing the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Administrative and Policy Studies program in Pitt’s School of Education. Since then, his assessment projects focusing on student learning outcomes have included successful accreditation campaigns at an arts college (including online) and at a young STEM university, curricular re-alignments at a conservatory of performing arts, and non-profit consulting for regional public school districts. In addition to survey design and logic models, Cooper's research interests involve building IT systems and balancing business-based efficiencies with effective and inclusive programming in higher education.
