Biography

Jacob Fine completed his Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Northeastern University, where he gained significant experience providing rehabilitation services to division-I collegiate athletes. Upon completing his residency, he moved back to Pittsburgh and worked as an outpatient physical therapist at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and served as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh Physical Therapy Department. Fine completed the University of Pittsburgh Division-I Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship in 2023, where he split time between teaching in the musculoskeletal curriculum of the DPT program and working in the training room with the Pitt sports medicine team to provide rehabilitation services for University of Pittsburgh Athletics. He currently serves as a faculty member and clinical mentor for the UPMC Sports and Orthopedic residency programs and the Pitt D-1 Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship. He is passionate about teaching anatomy and musculoskeletal physical therapy, with a focus on sports physical therapy in the collegiate setting.
