Erin Mathia is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and assistant director of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Allegheny College and her Master of Occupational Therapy and Doctor of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She has 10+ years of clinical experience, specializing in early intervention. As an assistant professor with the Department of Occupational Therapy, Mathia provides supervision and mentorship to occupational therapy students during community-based fieldwork experiences. Her scholarly interests include community-based occupational therapy and curriculum design.
