Prepare to enter a high-demand field by acquiring the skills to maintain data integrity and security to ensure providers and patients have access to accurate information. You’ll become skilled in data analytics and technology. Students are offered a clinical rotation, providing them with opportunities to interact with health informatics experts and other health care professionals. Graduates of our undergraduate Health Informatics program are eligible to take the exam to become a Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA®).

An internship is built into the curriculum.
The HI (Health Informatics) baccalaureate degree program is in Candidacy Status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
