Biography

Before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Christine Major conducted research in behavioral neuroscience at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, MA. As part of her chiropractic training, she completed a clinical preceptorship at the American Lake VA Medical Center, where she worked with veterans to enhance their mobility and functional outcomes. With over a decade of experience teaching at the graduate and professional levels, Major previously served as associate professor and chair of the Department of Basic Sciences at the University of Western States. She is a dedicated and dynamic educator with a strong passion for neuroscience. Driven by curiosity, she continually explores and incorporates innovative teaching strategies, aiming to inspire the same sense of inquiry in her students. She regularly shares emerging developments in science and medicine to foster a culture of lifelong learning. Drawing on her clinical experience, Major emphasizes the connection between foundational scientific principles and their practical application in clinical settings.
