Biography

KwangTae Mun is the current Advanced Rehabilitation Research and Training Fellow in the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology (RST). His research focuses on community-based services, smart home solutions, and daily living management, aiming to develop assistive technologies that support independent living for individuals with disabilities and older adults. He has worked on applying smart home technology to enhance independent daily living and quality of life for people with disabilities and older adults. Additionally, he is interested in bridging hospital and community services to create a more integrated and inclusive rehabilitation system. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, exploring ways to advance rehabilitation technology and smart home research.
