Biography

Taychapat Makkong is guided by Professor Dave Brienza. Since beginning the program in 2022, he has focused research on understanding and improving gait in the elderly. Makkong chose the University of Pittsburgh for its exceptional research facilities and the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in rehabilitation science. He is passionate about this work, believing that enhancing mobility in older adults can significantly improve their quality of life and help them maintain independence longer. His ultimate goal is to return to Thailand as a lecturer and researcher, contributing to the development of innovative rehabilitation practices that will benefit the aging population.
